Are you sick and tired of not traveling after all the pandemic restrictions? Fourth graders have the best solution for you! Here you can find an example of one of the cruises they have planned on the Spanish rivers for their IB project. They have not only done research on the different cities and villages travelers may be able to visit, but they have also done mathematical calculations to adapt their prices to a fixed budget.

ART

In Art class, we have been talking about figurative and abstract art, and where does abstraction come from. In Klee´s cat, we can see this road to abstraction through his lines and the application of color.Students have done their artwork inspired by the work of Paul Klee “Cat and bird” painting with watercolors and waxes.
At the end of his career, Matisse looked for new means of expression, creating compositions using cut paper. He began "drawing with scissors“ after some health issues left him confined to a wheelchair, and his restricted movement made it too difficult for him to paint.
In Art class, we have been talking about how we can express ourselves in different ways. For example painting using varied materials and perspectives, to represent the different realities that surround us.
