LENGUA CASTELLANA Y LITERATURA | El Romancero
Los alumnos de 5º de Primaria se han sumergido en el Romancero estudiando romances, escribiendo historias ambientadas en la Edad Media, creando sus propios romances y recreándolos con las TIC.
SCIENCE | Muslim Heritage
We were very curious about all the things we have now adays that were brought by the Muslim during the Al- Ándalus period. So students in 5th grade prepared a few presentations once they had investigated about it!
SCIENCE | The Cell
We have also learnt about the cells, which form all living things! We have learnt their different organelles and we have drawn them and made models of them! After all this work, we were also able to see our own cell's desings on AR (Augmented Reality). It has been so much fun!
ENGLISH | Compositions & presentations
During this year, we have seen a huge change and improvement when our students write their compositions. Not only how good they are able to organize their ideas, but also how lovely it is the presentation! Here you can see some of them (hand-written and digital work)
ART
In Art class we have learnt about the avant-.garde artistic movements that took place at the beginning of the 20th century, and what life was like a hundred years ago, during the roaring twenties. We have seen how the changes that took place in society changed the way artists expressed themselves.
We have talked about the artist Paul Klee and studied his paintings, in which we see landscapes being transformed into geometrical shapes and colours, on the path to abstraction.
We have also talked about Sonia Delaunay, who was a pioneer in abstract art and decorative arts, and created her "Rythmes", compositions with concentric circles and vivid colours.
And to celebrate the Book´s Day, we have read in class "A Life of Color" by Cara Manes, about Delaunay´s life.
They have done great art work inspired by these artists!
